FACE AFRICA GRANTED 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT STATUS BY THE IRS

January 2009

After months of hard work, we are happy to announce that FACE Africa's application for tax exemption status has been approved. This is very exciting news as it will enhance our ability to apply for grants and establish further legitimacy for our organization. Attaining 501(c)3 means that all donations to FACE Africa will be tax deductible, which will make us a much more attractive organization in the eyes of funders.
