Concern WorldWide - Liberia

Since 1996 Concern has been operational in Liberia during which time programming gradually moved between emergency responses to development works depending on the political and security situation.

Concern’s goal is to eradicate extreme poverty and we always coordinated efforts with the target beneficiaries, local authorities, UN agencies and other international relief organizations.

Concern Liberia continues to play an active role in humanitarian coordination both at the field and national levels. Concern has been implementing water and sanitation projects in Liberia since 2000, both in emergencies and in community recovery. Currently Concern is part of a WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Consortium comprised of 5 INGOs. The WASH Consortium works to support the Government, in particular the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Public Works and the Liberian Water and Sewer Corporation in reaching the goals set out in the Poverty Reduction Strategy relating to water and sanitation.

Susukuu, Inc.

Susukuu, Inc. was founded in 1971 to allow the poor of Liberia to help themselves in their drive to lift their living condition beyond subsistence and above poverty.

Girl Empowerment Program (GEP)

GEP is a charitable organization started in March 2007 to affiliate with and meet some of the dire needs of women and children, especially orphans, street kids and teen parents in communities around Liberia.

All for Africa

The mission of All For Africa is to help secure the long-term sustainability of important community level initiatives in health, education, clean water, micro-financing, community development and skills training on the continent of Africa.
This mission is achieved primarily through:
1. Project development aimed at creating sustainable funding to cover operational expenses for community based programs and charities.

2. The creation of valuable collaborative models between for profit companies and not for profit organizations.

3. Provide service as the coordinating hub for networking, education and support for all stakeholders delivering programs for the relief and development of Africa on a sustainable basis.
